WCAG 2 AAA Accessible Video?

A work in progress.

The summary at Migrating from WCAG 1 to WCAG 2 is a useful guide. This page is an attempt to design a gracefully-degrading, fully-compliant video page.

This implementation aims to be as unobtrusive as possible, requiring next to no changes for a webmaster who may be reluctant to alter their pages' templates and HTML <head>.

Several features are missing at present:

  • Alternative vision tracks (e.g. sign language)
  • Alternative audio tracks (e.g. extended audio description)
  • Alternative closed captions (e.g. extended audio description captions)
  • Transcripts
  • Downloadable versions

You do not have Javascript and / or Adobe Flash installed. Embedded video is not available without these technologies.
